he Two Towers marks
the second volume of the collection of books making up The Lord of The
Rings. Frodo and Sam have split from the rest of the fellowship following
an attack by Orcs at Sarn Gebir. Merry and Pippin have been taken captive
and Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas are in pursuit heading towards Rohan.
The lurking presence of their follower in Moria has reappeared and is
destined to play a major part in the future. Boromir and Gandalf are
lost.
The Two Towers marks an increase in pace as the Lord of The Rings winds
on through new unforeseen paths in the quest to destroy the One Ring.
We share in the excitement of not one tale, but many as new unforeseen
adventures unfold for the members of the fellowship we have come to
know and care for since the Fellowship of the Ring.
The Two Towers comes complete with maps based on those originally drawn
by Christopher Tolkien, of the Western parts of Middle-Earth. Along
with The Fellowship of the Ring and The
Return of the King it makes up one of the greatest books of all
time.
