George Allen and Unwin (boxed) 1976. Deluxe edition. Very good, no dust jacket. The book has a small ding at about mid point on the front spine edge and the bottom right corner is slightly bumped. Pages 182 - 196 have a small ding in the upper corner. It doesn't look as if this book has ever been read. The box is worn on the edges. The bottom section has a small hole punctured into it (probably where the ding on pages 182 -196 came from) and one corner is split. The lid of the box has some sticker removal damage in the top right corner and two of the corners are split. There is a puncture mark in one side equal to the puncture in the bottom portion. The label on the top of the box is discoloured and has a few smudges. Black hardcover book with Smaug the Dragon design on the front cover in gold and red. The spine has gold lettering and borders. The paper is smooth and slightly glossy. The edges of the pages are speckled (green? blue?)
